Veneers Dental

No need to hide your smile anymore. Our professional cosmetic dentists are here to restore the damage caused by staining, gaps, misshapen and chipped teeth.
At Arlington Dental Associates, we provide high-quality porcelain veneers that correct imperfections and give you back the confidence to smile.
Many patients assume that veneers would look artificial and further damage their confidence. However, dental veneers are designed to closely resemble your teeth’ natural appearance.
We develop dental veneers that can restore your smile in no time using advanced tools and techniques.

What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are custom-made thin porcelain shells that cover the front surface of your teeth. Our dentists at our facility in Arlington, Texas, will take the impressions of your teeth to fabricate customized dental veneers that perfectly fit. After that, these impressions are sent to the lab to be cast in porcelain veneers.
Before placing dental veneers, our experts perform a detailed examination to identify any underlying oral health problems. Your tooth or teeth are prepared to achieve the best aesthetic results.
After placing dental veneers, you will see a dramatic change in your appearance. Although veneers are designed to be stain-resistant, we recommend that patients avoid drinking excessive amounts of tea, coffee, and red wine to take care of their new smile.

Who Needs Veneers?

Veneers are not recommended for everyone. After conducting a consultation and an examination, our experts will determine if you are the right candidate for dental veneers.
Typically, veneers are recommended for patients facing any of the following issues:
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Short or small teeth
  • Misaligned and misshapen Teeth
  • Staining and discoloration
  • Gaps between the teeth
Veneers are a more long-lasting alternative to dental bonding and teeth whitening. Porcelain or composite resin veneers are stain-resistant and mimic the natural appearance of the teeth. They are aesthetically pleasing and help keep your teeth in good shape.

How Does It Work?

Traditional dental veneers require two visits to the dentist’s office. Patients can also choose Lumineers, which require little or no tooth preparation before application.
No-prep veneers are becoming increasingly common and ideal for patients who wish to achieve immediate results. However, they are thinner and may not be recommended for everyone.
The dental veneer procedure is covered in the following steps:
  • On the consultation visit, our dentist in Arlington Dental Associates will perform digital X-rays to examine the health of your gums and teeth. After obtaining the X-rays, the dentist will take impressions of your teeth and send them to the laboratory for preparation.
  • On the second visit, some enamel will be trimmed off your tooth to make space for veneers. Please note that this is an irreversible procedure. Next, temporary veneers will be placed on your teeth to protect them while permanent restorations are made. Once the veneers are ready, the temporary veneers will be etched and cemented to your teeth.
